Internet Explorer - UC Webmail - OWA Light Issue

Please review and ask us if you have any questions. We’ve gotten a few calls about this already, and students may show up with this issue.
After windows users upgrade to internet explorer 11, webmail may not allow the loading of the full version of UC Email/Outlook Web Client.
Steps to follow to allow use of full Outlook Web Access (owa) for Ursinus Webmail Site.
We may get problems reported as:
-reading pane is no longer available/only shows list of emails and have to double-click on them and open them to read them
-can only use the ‘light” version of outlook web access in internet explorer 11
Start Internet Explorer 11
Goto the menu and choose: (if they don’t have the menu bar loaded, press the F10 key to bring up the menus)
-Compatibility view settings – make sure both boxes are checked at the bottom of window, if they aren’t check them
Go to the ursinus webmail page (load the UC webmail page - don’t need to log in)
-Click on to highlight the Local intranet zone under “Select a Zone to view or change security settings.”
-Click the Sites Button
-Click the Add button
– this should add https://webmail.ursinus.edu to the websites list – the “add” line should be filled out with the correct address, https://webmail.ursinus.edu as long as you followed the directions above and went to the Ursinus email page before starting these instructions – you can also type the full address in the box if the “add” box is blank.
-click close to close the window
-click ok in the next window
-click ok in the last window
-close internet explorer, reopen and test
